Hello!
Well, I’m not really sure what to say, which is weird cause normally you can’t shut me up, but today I’m sitting here and typing and not even sure where to start, but hello.
So, as you’ve probably guessed, welcome to my brand new blog, though it’s not really that new, it’s still the same blog that I’ve been writing for ten years (TEN YEARS HOW!) but just a new name and fancy new design.
I feel a little sad to be saying goodbye to Dizzybrunette3, I mean that’s been my online name for ten years, that’s my second longest relationship, it’s been my internet identity for pretty much the whole of my twenties, but for that very reason too, I felt it was time for a new chapter.
I’ve always loved blogging, it has helped me through many times when I was lonely and homesick whilst I was at uni, it was my driving passion through jobs I hated and when I was able to go full time with it in 2014, I felt like the luckiest girl alive. I still feel like that.
I’m so proud of my blog and well I guess myself too, but something that I’ve never been sure of is my blog name.
You see, I’ve never been good with naming things, let’s take a moment to think of my future children haha but seriously, I couldn’t think of a good blog name when I set this one up in 2010, so I went with an old Myspace username, and well then it kinda stuck.
I mean sure, I definitely used to be a dizzy brunette and I still am sometimes, but the girl who set this blog up in 2010 is very different to the woman sitting here typing this.
First of all, I’m no longer in my Britney Spears ‘I’m not a girl not yet a woman’ phase, I’m a woman – I’m twenty eight and 3/4, I’m now married, and well as you can imagine, a lot has changed in ten years.
My life no longer revolves around Barry M nail polish ( I mean I’m still OBSESSED) I’m now a dog person, and I feel over the past ten years, I’ve grown up, I’ve become more educated, more wiser (maybe) and Dizzybrunette3 just didn’t resonate with me anymore.

So I want to welcome you to Corrie Bromfield.com I mean- I told you I’m terrible with naming things haha but I wasn’t sure what to rebrand to, but then after talking to my friends, they told me ‘that people come to your blog for you’ so I thought – my name it is.
And well after my friend Abi said ‘your name sounds like something from Gossip Girl so you have to use it’ – I was sold.
There are going to be a few changes round here, first and foremost hopefully more posts and content, I’m hoping to feel a bit less restricted with this re brand and have more inspiration and creativity.
I’m sitting here buzzing with ideas, I wish I had more sets of hands so I could type them all at once!
I’m honestly so excited for this new chapter, I feel a little like a big weight has been lifted and I’m just really excited. I realise I just said excited twice but that’s all I can use really, to describe how I’m feeling.
I hope you guys will love the new blog, it’s still the same old me, and although I’m sad to say goodbye to Dizzybrunette3, we shared some good times – I also feel like it was time.
I feel like I am making a way bigger deal out of this than I need to, so I’m probably going to end things here.
I also want to say a big thank you to each and every one of you who still reads my blog, people say blogs are dying but I don’t believe that for one second, and for everyone who has supported me over the years, your support never goes un-noticed and I appreciate it every single day.
So I feel like we should be raising an imaginary glass, but here’s to new adventures and chapters – let’s do this!
