Well, this feels very surreal to be writing…
Although I have known about this news for over two months, it feels totally surreal finally writing these words, but here we go : I’m pregnant!
I’m having a baby, which writing out finally seems real? But I wanted to share the news with you on my blog, because I feel like on my blog, we’ve shared some pretty big moments, and gone through a lot together.
I started my blog ten years ago this October, TEN! And in that time you’ve seen me study at university, graduate, move several times, have several jobs, go full time with my blog, get a dog, get engaged and married, buy a house and now onto the next chapter; motherhood.
I know this will sounds very cringe, but I do see you guys as my extended group of friends, so I’m really excited to be sharing this with you.
So, I am going to be publishing a diary of my first trimester which I’ll be putting live over the next couple of days, which will have all the ins and outs of my symptoms and how life in general has been for the past three months, so I’ll leave all the gory details for that (as I’m not sure how much everyone really cares about all the finer details!)
I am currently 14 weeks pregnant ☺️ and I had my 12 week scan a couple of weeks ago, and everything is all good, I saw our little baby with their little legs, arms, fingers and toes and we are over the moon to finally share our news.
It’s been very hard of course keeping this a secret, and we never thought this day would come (who else found the first 12 weeks to be the longest of their life?) but we’re very grateful and excited to be able to share our happy news with you.

Both myself and Henry (and Frankie too) are so excited about having a baby, I’m due towards the end of January, and cannot wait for this new exciting adventure.
I’ll be sharing pregnancy updates as I go along, but if that’s not your jam don’t worry, I’ll still be sharing lots of other normal posts too, but I have got quite a few pregnancy posts planned that I’m excited to write and post, and YouTube videos too, so I’m excited to start working on those this week!
Like I said, my first trimester diary will go into the ins and outs of my symptoms but very briefly, I will say I’ve been extremely lucky with symptoms and had a pretty easy ride. Mild nausea, tiredness, wanting to eat potatoes and sore boobs have been about the jist of things, so I feel extremely grateful. I just feel like the luckiest woman to be carrying our little baby, and I’m just honestly bursting with excitement.
I’m so happy to finally share the news with you all, I’d love to know if any of you are pregnant (send me a DM if you want to keep it private) as I’m always here if you fancy a chat, and if you’ve been pregnant, let me know if you have any tips for pregnancy symptoms or just having a baby in general – I’d love to know!
But I’ll stop waffling on now, but that’s our exciting news, and I’ll speak to you all very soon.
Corrie x
(+ Henry & Frankie x)
