I am obsessed with Christmas scented candles. So much so that I pretty much burn them all year round. Yep I am that person. I can’t get enough! So with Christmas just a few days away, and when all the Christmas candles start to go into the sale cause normal folk say they’re just for Christmas and not for life, now is the perfect time to stock up. So I thought I’d share with you, some of my faves this year, and let me know yours too as I always say ‘there is no such thing, as too many Christmas candles.’
Yankee Candles are my favourite Christmas candles, I find that their scents are my favourite and they always last quite a while too! I have Snowflake Cookie which not only is the prettiest candle I’ve ever seen, but also smells amazing. It’s similar to Christmas Cookie (also another of my faves) it’s very sweet smelling, and makes your house smell like you’ve been baking, which has fooled poor Henry many a time when he’s come home from work hoping for some fresh cookies. I also have some little Yankee Candles this year, and for a more fresher scent I’ve been burning All Is Bright, which has citrus notes but also just smells very fresh and almost like laundry which I love.
Festive Cocktail is also amazing, and also a special mention to Macaroon Treats which sadly isn’t the prettiest (I just can’t get on board with green candles unfortunately) but it smells insane. It has touches of vanilla, almond and sugar and considering my favourite candle scents are very sweet, I am obsessed with this one!
I’ve also been loving La Montana’s Winter Orange candle which I was sent last year and I’ve finally been burning it. It’s a spicy orange scent which is perfect for this time of year. As much as I love a sweet scent, you cannot beat a spicy scent at this time of year also!
My final favourites this year, have been my wax melts. I think that I’ve probably harped on here before about my love for wax melts but they really are so good. I have a wax burner and then I have a selection of wax melts which seem to last longer and be more scented than regular candles. I have a pack of the Christmas collection from Yankee candle, and I’ve been breaking each tart in half and then burning them for a few days till the scent disappears. Then I’ll pop it in sink with some boiling water and start over again. I have one called Christmas Eve which wait for it, I’ll burn on Christmas Eve and one called Christmas Morning which guess what, I’ll burn on Christmas morning haha!
So these are my festive candle faves right now, please tell me your favourite Christmas candle scents and hopefully I can pick some up in the sales after Christmas!
