I always get excited by Tanya Burr’s new cosmetic ranges, as usually each collection seems to be getting prettier and prettier. And you know me, I am a sucker for pretty packaging. Her Autumn range is exactly what I was hoping for, and I am pretty sure that you are going to love it too. Although Tanya’s previous ranges have been aimed at a slightly younger audience, this one I would say is definitely suitable for all ages, as the packaging for this range is more grown up and sophisticated.
From rose gold illuminators to gold lipsticks, the packaging feels a bit more luxurious, I’m getting Charlottle Tilbury vibes and the products aren’t a million miles from the Rosie Huntington Whitely range for M&S earlier this year, which I loved. Not only is this range got some dreamy packaging but there’s also a few new products too. This Autumn is all about highlighters for the Tanya Burr Cosmetics range, and if you’re a make up magpie like I am, then you are going to love these.
There’s a new face and body illuminator, a gold toned pearly cream which is perfect for using under foundation or even mixed in with foundation to add a slightly more glowy look to your base. The body illuminator would be perfect for using on your legs or along your décolletage (if that’s what it’s called haha) when you’re wearing a cami. Perfect for nights out, and even more perfect for holidays – so maybe keep that in mind for your next trip!
(The body and face illuminators are pretty identical)
There’s new cheek illuminators too, they kinda remind of the Charlotte Tilbury Beach Sticks, from the rose gold packaging to the colours, I was really excited to try them. The three shades are; Golden Girl – a bronzey shade perfect for using to warm up your skin tone, Holiday Happiness- a shimmery pink which kinda reminds me of Orgasm from Nars, and finally Forever Summer- the highlighter of the group, a pale pink frosty colour which I would compare to Benefit’s Watts Up or Girl About Town. Very pretty and glowy!
The shades are very pretty but aren’t as creamy as I hoped, I found that applying them to a brush then to my cheek worked better than applying them straight on to my skin as I felt they worked better when I warmed them up a little. My favourite from the bunch is Forever Summer as it’s a very pretty highlighter and I’m not really too much of a blush girl anymore!
The new lipsticks are in gold packaging which looks so good at this time of year, there’s six shades and they’re insanely pigmented and satin-y. I love the shades Pink Cocoa and Happily Ever After. For £6.99 they are an absolute steal! Birthday cake which I haven’t got, also looks so pretty, a pale pink colour which would look perfect with a smokey eye. I also love all the lipstick names too!
I love the new Autumn collection, the packaging is very pretty and dressing table worthy and the prices are amazing. Every product comes in at under £10 which is so good, and dare I say it (even though we’ve not even had Halloween yet) perfect for Christmas presents. Yes that’s right, I went there.
Have you tried any of the new Tanya Burr Cosmetics Autumn collection yet?
