I was SO excited when these two new Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluids from Urban Decay popped through my letterbox, not only did I not expect them but I didn’t know these were new releases from UD till I had my hands on them. I mean where had I been? Hiding in a bush or something? Who knows, that is the question. But they’re here now and today, I’m gonna tell you how I have been loving them (whoops spoiler alert) and I’m sure you’re going to love them too.
Colour correcting has become a big thing recently, like highlighting/strobing/baking has before it, it’s all about picking up coloured make up products to help us erase problem areas such as dark under eye circles, blemishes, redness and much more. You have a problem with your skin? There’s probably a colour to correct it.
So what is the big deal with the Urban Decay Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluid? I hear you ask, well, they are lightweight, and contain an innovative colour correcting formula meaning imperfections are sorted out pretty much right away. They also include subtle pearlescent pigments which diffuse light to perfect the skin, and also have vitamins C and E to condition and protect delicate areas of the skin. They are also super blendable, creamy and pigmented!
So I have two colours; Pink ( used to brighten dark areas such as under eye circles) and Lavender ( to balance sallowness in your skin, so you use it brighten your complexion.) I have been using the Pink shade more recently, cause I haven’t found a need to use the Lavender one just yet, but I do always have eye bags. I find that this is really brightening, and although I do like to use concealer with it, I do think it works pretty well. My under eye area is visibly brightened and I love how thick, creamy and blendable the product is. It’s been helping me to feel more confident as I don’t feel I look as tired and haggard as I do before.
I am intrigued by the other colours in the range, the Peach also sounds really good for under eyes, and also the yellow one for highlighting too! I am very impressed though, and these little tubes make colour correcting a little more simple and easy to do day to day.
