I love music. In fact, I’m very much driven by music. I always have been and probably always will. That being said I don’t think I have the best music taste, or so I’ve been told. Apparently I have the music taste of a teenager but hey what’s wrong with that eh?
Anyways, recently I’ve had a few bad days. I honestly wish I knew what was up. I think it’s the constant raining and grey skies that we’ve had over the past few weeks, I think it’s my body getting used to a new contraceptive pill and the stress of buying a house and having no idea what is going on. I’m sure I’ll perk up once I know when I can start buying new homeware bits and bobs. But when I’ve been having a bad day, I’ve been turning to different music to try and motivate myself. To try and get myself in a better mood, and these playlists that I’m about to show you have helped.
I love finding out about new playlists so here are some of my faves. I hope you like them as much as I do. Also how cool would it be to just create playlists for a job? I’d love that haha.
The Cheesy Playlist
This will put you in a good mood instantly. Featuring cheesy pop songs from the 90s/00s and today, it’s so good for whacking on and having a good sing along! It features classics from Avril Lavinge, B*Witched and S Club 7. And everyone knows there ain’t no party like an S Club party.
The Bad Day Playlist
The Bad Day Playlist
I made this playlist myself for bad days. It features pretty much all of my fave songs, the songs that will get me singing along, or dancing around the living room. If my playlist isn’t to your taste, I’d recommend making your own bad day playlist. Grumpy future you will appreciate it.
Transatlantic
Transatlantic
This playlist is perfect for train journeys, road trips or catching a plane as the bio suggests. It features a different mix of stuff but it’s quite chilled, and makes me feel all holiday like.
The Pop Punk Playlist
The Pop Punk Playlist
This is quite a good angry playlist haha it also makes me feel about 14 again as I used to listen to the majority of these songs in my room back in the early 00’s. Personally I don’t think you can ever beat a bit of Blink 182 and Fall Out Boy.
Indie Sunshine
Indie Sunshine
This is perfect for listening to on a sunny day. Perfect for road trips with the windows down, or as I like to imagine what I’d listen to on the beach in California or something. I usually listen to it when I’m doing work though, but it does usually make me feel a bit cheerier so that’s good!
So there we have five of my current fave playlists. The ones I turn to when I’m grumpy, sad or in need of a good sing along!
