Watching lookbook videos are one of my favourites. I love getting style inspiration from my favourite vloggers are they’re like me. They’re real girls with real figures and it gives me a better idea of what will maybe look good on me. I always get great styling inspiration from watching fashion videos. Anyway I always try to make videos that I like to watch, well not that I like to sit down and watch my own videos but you get what I mean. I like to make content that I would enjoy if I was a stranger. That being said, I have never really managed to get the whole filming of a lookbook quite right. Whilst some girls look cute whilst filming in their bedroom, I usually ended up with videos of me looking like a really awkward turtle that was cringey for both me and viewers and they usually ended up going in the trash bin.
I decided this autumn that I wanted to make a proper go at making a lookbook, and after two days of filming and hours of editing, I feel I finally have a semi decent lookbook that I am actually quite proud of. These are all outfits I have and wear, and sorry they are a bit boring but I wanted to do a true representation of my A/W wardrobe and if this goes down well, then maybe I’ll do a winter lookbook next month or something? Let me know!
