There’s something about Autumn/Winter that makes you want to slap on a nude nail polish. Preferably a greige sludgy colour that I suppose represents the weather. For the past few years I have been searching for the perfect nude polishes, I once saw a picture of Chanel’s Frenzy in a magazine and vowed to find the dupe of that polish as I couldn’t justify the price tag of £18.00. I feel that after searching I finally have four perfect nude polishes, they have the right amount of greige and sludge for any Autumn nail colour.
From left to Right:
Barry M Lychee, Models Own Nude Beige, Models Own Concrete Mixer, Bourjois Beige Nude
So this is the all important four nude polishes that you pretty much need in your life. The bourjois So Lacque Glossy in Beige Nude is my current favourite nude polish. With a wide brush it coats the nail in one swipe. A god send for messy nail painters like myself. The colour is the perfect greige, but with a light caramel shade to it too. The staying power is pretty good too, with a good three or four days before any chips. Next is two Models Own polishes, a favourite with me and only £5 a bottle they’re a bit of a bargain. Concrete Mixer and Nude Beige are two very pretty nude colours, Concrete Mixer is probably the polish most like the Chanel polish Frenzy and Nude Beige is a pinker more girlie nude polish. Finally Barry M have a great nude, the Gelly Lychee polish is the lightest nude of the four, but it’s still a goody. More beige than greige, it’s perfect for people who like me adored white nails over the summer. This is the Autumn tipex nail.
So that’s my current four favourite nude nail polishes, what’s yours? Any that I’m missing out on?
