Let me just start off by saying how much I love the design of these products, from the little lightening strikes, to the cool sea green colour, they really do make hair products that little more exciting. I have been using three of the four products, Henry got to try the Creative Stick It Up Gum, and I have to say we’re impressed. I have used many Toni & Guy products over the years and have always found them to do a good job. It was no different with these products, my favourite of the products was the Glamour Volume Plumping Whip. You all know I love big hair, in fact the bigger the better, so anything that encourages bouncy, big hair… I’m in. You take some of this thick, creamy product and rub it into the roots of towel dried hair. I was a bit dubious at first, I have a bit of a fear of putting products in my roots, considering my hair gets greasy quite easily. I needn’t have worried however, this didn’t make my hair feel greasy or sticky. Instead my hair was left looking voluminous like I’d just spent a hour having my hair professionally blow dried. Perfect for using when you need a little lift say on a night out, etc.
I also have been loving the Classic Shine and Gloss Serum, distributed to the ends of towel dried hair, it helps to eliminate frizz and helps your hair look shiny and soft. This I need, my ends have been really dry, so I have been needing a bit of TLC. This has helped to make my hair soft, frizz free and conceal any static my hair may have. Which with Autumn on the way, it means we’ll soon be wearing scarves and that means my hair will be needing the most help it can get. I have a sneaky feeling this serum may be my hair’s new BFF.
Ignore my strange face… this is my hair after using the products 🙂
Next up is the Casual Sea Salt, a salt spray to create beachy waves that are still on trend this season though the sun has long gone. Spray through your hair for a effortless easy hair look, for times when you’re running late in the morning. Pop your hair in braids or a top knot, sleep on it and then spray this through the lengths. On a good day, it makes me look like I’ve been chilling on a beach all day, on a bad day I look a little like Monica from Friends in Barbados. So sometimes I dig out a curling iron and spray after using that. It smells lovely too, much better than the actual sea! Finally Henry tried the Creative Stick It Up Gum for his hair, he uses hair wax every day, so I thought he’d be the best judge on this product! His words? It’s ‘quite good’ Henry is a man of few words, so this is a good review in his eyes. It was tested against sweaty nightclubs and greasy restaurants which is where he’s been working this week and it out stood the test!
So there is my thoughts on the Toni & Guy Hair Meets Wardrobe limited edition range. With products to suit everyone, (even the boys.) It’s a great way to add a little fun into your hair range whilst making your hair look great at the same time.
