Hello!
I am back from my holiday to Egypt. If you follow me on twitter/instagram, you’ll know I spent a week in Sharm El Sheikh soaking up the sun and dodging lizards. My boyfriend and I had a lovely time just chilling by the pool, basking in the 40 degree heat! However sadly all holiday’s must come to a end, and after a week going by very quickly we are back in good old Blighty. Today is the first time that I’ve had to sit down at the computer, my Mum and sister came to visit me for a couple of days and then Henry and I decided to have a change round with the furniture upstairs, meaning a few ikea trips! However before I go back to work (boo) I am hoping to get some blog posts up as I realise I’ve been a bit slack with posting lately (slaps wrists)
Of course one of the most exciting things about packing for your holidays, is sorting out holiday outfits. With Egypt rarely going below 25 degrees even at night, I knew I wanted clothes that would be light, cool and not too dressy. I always over pack for holidays and always pack really dressy clothes that I just never wear. So this year, I was ruthless, I packed seven outfits, and actually wore everything I packed which is a first! I always find that you can never tell how people will dress at the hotel till you get there, at our hotel there was a real mixture. From girls wearing going out clothes complete with six inch heels, to people in just tops and shorts. I decided to just mainly wear shorts and my new beloved Topshop cami’s. It was too hot to be faffing around with dresses.
The Outfit’s…
The Topshop cami in an array of colours, were my holiday uniform. They’re so light and great for showing off your tan 😉 also check out my cool different coloured eyes, lol.

Some advice on Egypt..
We stayed at the Club Magic Life Imperial hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, we went with Thomson’s and had a lovely time. I’m not sure if I’d recommend the hotel, but if you want a chill then it was a great place to stay which wasn’t too far from the airport. The hotel was spotless, the grounds were really well kept and we loved our room. But we did feel the food let it down slightly, it wasn’t on the same par as other all inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at before. Nevertheless we had a really nice time, we went to just chill and recharge our batteries which we did! I am missing my daily naps by the pool! Two things I was worried about with going to Egypt were: A: the current riots and violence going on over there, most of the trouble is in Cairo which is nowhere near Sharm. You would of never known that there was trouble going on and we didn’t feel un safe at all. There are armed guards at the hotels, and you’re probably safer there than when you’re at home! But listening to the news today, seems that the trouble has gone up a notch again. If you are thinking of booking a holiday to Egypt, although Sharm was absolutely fine, it might be worth holding off till things quieten down a bit. But from what we saw there was no trouble and I doubt very much that there will be trouble in Sharm as it’s very touristy. I was also worried about getting ill. After scouring Trip Advisor many people who stayed at our hotel got tummy bugs, of course this worried me, you don’t want to spend money on a holiday to go and get ill. Anyways I bought lots of medicine with us just in case and both me and Henry were absolutely fine. Though many of the other British holidaymakers liked to talk about their ‘dodgy tummies’ round the pool, we both remained fine. We put it down to neither of us eating salad or fruit. Keep your wits about you, be careful with meat, carry anti bac, brush your teeth with bottled water and always wash your hands after dealing with the money. We did all this and didn’t get ill, I know it’s silly but no one wants their holiday ruined by a upset stomach!
Henry’s back to work today whilst I go back Monday, we have holiday blues and already planning our next break away. We’re thinking of a big one, maybe Orlando & Hawaii.. best get saving now eh! I hope you liked seeing my holiday outfits and hearing a little about our holiday, I thought I’d add some advice in about Egypt as when we were going, I was panicking if everything was okay out there! I hope you’re all well and if you’re off on holiday soon, I’m very jealous you lucky thing!
