Sometimes, I find planning daytime holiday outfits just as hard as nighttime outfits. I am bikini obsessed, and every holiday, I have to have new ones to wear! I also like to wear a new one every day.. a bit extreme? Probably. But this year, I struggled to find ones that I liked, thankfully a last minute ASOS shop provided me with some new bikini’s to wear.. after a stressful delivery process, they were packed away in my case thankfully! I also always usually just pack some denim shorts and a variety of coloured vest tops for the daytime, but sometimes it’s nice to have cover ups that have a bit more about them. Thankfully the likes of Primark do great cover ups, so your daytime holiday wardrobe doesn’t have to cost you too much!

As well as the shorts and tops, which were too boring to photograph for you, I loved this white t-shirt crochet dress from Primark. I bought it last year, but I spied it this year too, in a array of colours for just £5. Bargain. It’s really lightweight and comfy, perfect for holiday day time wear. This floral play suit from Primark is also a great cover up, super light material and easy to just pull on, it was also a bargain at under £10. However I did buy this one a couple of years ago, but there is many similar ones in store right now. You also want daytime flip flops too, ones that have a bit more grip for slippy pool areas and easy to throw on and off. Of course the dream is to have Havaiana’s but the £1 Primark ones I picked up did a pretty good job.

Bikini wise, I always go for strapless bikinis. I’m not blessed in the booby department, so this means that strapless, bandeau bikini’s are great for me. It also means I won’t get any conflicting strap lines! I’m not a fan of my bum or thighs, so I like quite big covered bottoms, I don’t like skimpy ones! This year I found great bikini’s from Floozy at Debenhams, H&M, ASOS and Topshop.
So there we have it, what I wore poolside! I always find it hard to look glam in the day on holiday. My go to hairstyle was either a topknot or side plait. A tiny bit of concealer was all the make up I wore, and topshop aviator sunglasses which cracked in the heat 🙁 meaning I had to get some Ray Bins. lol sunglasses to wear instead! So a word of warning, be careful with topshop sunglasses if you’re going somewhere hot! Hope you’re all well 🙂
