Hello!
I do love posts that a little more personal and show a little more into the lives of bloggers. One of my favourite posts to read about are interior ones, I love getting inspiration and I’m also plain nosey so I love to have a snoop! I realised I have never really done a interior post before so I’ve decided to change that and show you some snippets of the flat I share with my Boyfriend.
My living room is where I spend quite a lot of time, I love all things girly and shabby chic and my living room is probably the girliest room of the flat. A lot of what I have is from Ikea, The Range or Primark. My boyfriend and I managed to get a lot of nice things that didn’t cost a lot which is obviously really good. Seeing as we live a few hours away from our families we have adorned the flat with lots of photos to make the flat feel homely.
Next up is the kitchen, everyone knows the party always happens in the kitchen. Well except for here because the only party our kitchen could hold would be for the Borrowers. Yes it is tiny but it’s colourful. Seeing as my boyfriend doesn’t like things to be ‘too girly’ we settled for bright items in the kitchen and bathroom. Most of our kitchen stuff is from Next (the summer/winter sale is your friend when shopping for home ware!) I also have many Disney Princess items including Mugs and straws. 🙂
Then we get to the bathroom, again it’s a little borrower like, but it does the job! To keep things colourful we’ve got one of the coolest shower curtains ever, hello multicoloured ducks! It’s from Primark btw and then a similar bath mat, also Primark. I like to keep all my cleaning products in this shabby chic inspired basket from Tesco. Bleach and Anti Bac wipes have never looked so pretty.
Finally we head to the bedroom, this is just a tiny snippet as my bedroom isn’t very girly! This is my bedside table and it is choca with beauty products (what else.) Again I have a shabby chic basket from Tesco and have some lovely Butterflies that my Mum’s friend gave me for my birthday. I also have some Cath Kidston
items including a mug to hold my brushes and a cosmetic bag which is home to tablets and spot treatments. Both essential. I also got a little windowsill full of hair products and little quotes. The Winnie the Pooh quote is a favourite of mine, I think it’s quite hard to read but it says ” If you live to be a hundred. I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.”
So I hope you liked this little look into what my flat looks like and what I like to have around me. Back to beauty and fashion for me now! I hope you’ve all had a good week and I’ll see you soon 🙂
