Hello!
So another cloudy humid day here today, although the sun isn’t shining it still is pretty warm which means it’s still fine to wear shorts! Now that it’s June it means that I will be wearing shorts like every day because it is officially summer. Also now that it’s June it also means that it’s only just over three weeks till my 21st birthday! Eek, how fast is this year going? So enough babbling onto the actual post, today my boyfriend had the day off and we didn’t do much apart from go get a shop from Tesco and a look round some other shops. Of course this meant I didn’t need to don my finest attire so some shorts and a top would do. I found this Primark peter pan collar top the other day when I was clearing out my wardrobe, I got it for something like £6 a couple of months ago,but the last time I went in they had some similar ones still in so worth a look if you like it. I also paired it with my River Island shorts which have featured a lot in outfit posts in the past couple of weeks! I also thought this top was quite similar to one Caroline Flack wore at the Xtra Factor auditions the other day! Also if you’re a fan of Caroline Flack or just her wardrobe, I have a special fashion inspired post with an online fashion brand coming up next week so keep your eyes peeled if you’re a fan of Cazza.

So now it’s time to talk about my new wedges from Forever 21, I spotted these bad boys on their website and pretty much fell in love with them. I’d been looking for some new low wedges that would be suitable for the daytime but hadn’t found any that were the right height. Being 5 ft 2 I probably should wear heels more often but I tend not to, I’m not very good with heels and I hate it when my feet hurt so it was essential that the wedges I chose were at least marginally comfortable and not so high that I walked like Bambi on ice which is what I’m usually like with heels. These were just £24.75 which I think is a pretty good price, they’re suede and a taupe colour. They’re quite comfy and easy to walk in which is a win win. I had to say I think they do need wearing in a little bit, they’re still at the plaster on the back of the ankle stage but I’m pretty sure these will be my shoe of the summer! There are only two sizes left on the Forever 21 website, just a size 6 and 7 but also look out if you have a Forever 21 near!
So I hope you all have a lovely Friday evening, and of course a brilliant Jubilee weekend. I’m pretty sure I will be posting over the weekend though as I have no special plans, I have however decided that I may attempt to make a cake to celebrate the Jubilee… well that and also the fact I really fancy some homemade cake at the moment!!
