Hey girlies!
The countdown is on! Tomorrow we go back home for the weekend and then on Tuesday we jet off to Menorca! I can’t believe how quickly time is going at the moment and I’m slightly stressed with all that’s going on, as you know we’re moving flats so when we come back from our holiday, we’re moving into the new flat! Hardly anything is packed and I’m a little like “aaaaah” my boyfriend keeps saying we’ll be fine and we can do it bit by bit, I’ve bought myself a pack of Kalms to indeed calm me down! I also got the job that I went for on Wednesday afternoon! Yay, I will be part of the promo team for Southampton FC 🙂 I’m excited to start which will be the first match of the season as it’s something a little different and sounds really fun! 🙂
My make up bag full..
Now onto my actual post: today is the last day of packing for me, so I’m currently looking at lists, crossing things off lists and organising things to be packed for our holidays. I’m not a light packer, I like to have a outfit for every opportunity but I’m trying really hard this year to be light and I’ve also tried this with my make up.
I think I was very ruthless, I’m only taking TWO blushers, so y’know I think that’s saying something! I thought you might like a little look of what I’m taking away with me.
Face
Very much the usual suspects here, Bourjois healthy mix foundation for light hot evenings and colourstay for any breakouts that need to be masked away. Concealer + my touche eclat for my eye bags 🙂 Powder to keep any shininess at bay, bronzer- my new Bobbi Brown bronzer which is matte + makes you look like you’ve had a week away and ELF’s golden bronzer which is less intense and gives you a glow too. Finally Fake Bake shimmer brick, to make you look all dewy.
Also the basics such as my eye drops to brighten my eyes and Body Shops mattifying day cream to put underneath my foundation.
Eyes
Again very much the usual products: Naked eye palette, this is perfect for me, day and night looks all rolled into one. Gel eyeliner- Maybelline and Bobbi Brown. Mascara for if my eyelash extensions start to fall out when I’m over there. Kohl eyeliner for a softer look. And finally a Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow, this is called Galaxy and it’s a gorgeous shimmery brown/grey which will look fab for smokey eye looks.
Blush
I thought I’d do a separate bit for my blush choices, ( honestly I forgot to take the pictures of them with the face products!) I’m only taking two with me which I feel is very ruthless! The chosen two are Topshop’s Head Over Heels and Bourjois Rose D’or. These two blushes are my current favourites at the moment, I love the colours of them, both are so summery and both will look amazing with a tan 🙂
So there we go my holiday make up bag. I think I’ve been ruthless, my boyfriend will probably think that I still have too much with me but there we go! Hope you all have a lovely day 🙂
