That is the outlook I have in my life. I am a self confessed tanorexix. I hate, hate being pale and I’m really quite disappointed with the lack of tanning, I have been keeping up with lately. The other day I went in a shop, looked in the mirror and thought ” Oh deary me Corrie, you look like snow white.” I’ve always been more of a Jasmine than a Snow White when comparing myself to Disney Princess’s.
You see, when you live on your own, no one is there to see you cover yourself in mud and smell really funny all night ( I don’t know how people can go out in the day with a fake tan just applied.) But when you live with your boyfriend, it’s different.
He moans that it smells, that the bed smells, I smell, I look like I’ve rolled in mud and then the next day I’m orange. You see he’s a boy so he doesn’t understand. With a tan I feel so much better. I feel prettier,slimmer and well just overall more confident.
I used to be a OTT tanner, I used to be ORANGE. Here’s a little picture to make you giggle. I look back and think that I look like a tit and no wonder chav’s shouted “ORANGE” at me in the street.
I decided last night it was time to fake tan finally and suddenly remembered that I had acquired a little St.Tropez set for my birthday. My birthday is in June and I’d not long come back from Turkey and in the summer you’re naturally tanned anyways so I’d put it to the back on my bathroom cupboard and completely forgotten about it.. well until last night.
I was so excited to use it, as I used to use St.Tropez when I was a carefree college student with no important things such as rent,bills or food to pay for so my money could go on expensive fake tan.
Anyways the set contains a body polish, body moisturiser and self tan.
It’s only a tiny set and I’m sure won’t take long to use up, so I did half St.Tropez and half St.Moriz.

Now it did smell a bit funny, but I don’t know if that’s because it’s been sitting in a cupboard for six months.
But this morning, I had a lovely golden glow, except for my chest which seems to be still pale but oh well.

I think I might just have to use my Boots Advantage points to get some St.Tropez, I’ve been saving them up for something special 🙂
Well sorry for the rambles about fake tan and what not, will be so pleased to finally do the last of my presentations tomorrow! I am so excited about coming back tomorrow and thinking I have no uni work to do!! Though no rest for the wicked the flat needs a bloody good clean, it’s driving me crazy!
